  1. Jiha, to pa je bil dober mesec. Pravzaprav le prvi teden, potem je šlo vedno bolj navzdol, ampak okej, mesec junij je prinesel veliko odličnih naslov, med katerimi so mnogi, ki so si že danes zagotovili mesto na moji lestvici naj filmov leta. Če gremo po vrsti:

    1. Tepenin Ardi – prvenec turka Alperja je miniaturna mojstrovina, ki ponovno gleda „Beyond the Hill“ (kot lanskoletna romunska poslastica), in bi jo najlažje opisal kot mešanico med turškima Bir zamanlar Anadolu'da – iskanje in Nefes: Vatan sagolsun – čakanje.
    2. O Som ao Redor – suburbian film, kot ga vidijo v Braziliji. Še en prvenec in še eno veliko pozitivno presenečenje.
    3. V tumane – tokrat ne gre za tolikšno presenečenje, saj je govora o novem filmu Sergeija Loznitsa, avtorja odličnega Schastye moe iz leta 2010. Plus: 2. svetovna vojna.
    4. Oh Boy – en dolgi dan mladega nemškega slackerja, ki bi namesto poslušanj moralnih pridig, iskanja zaposlitve in dokončanje študija, raje spil le dobro kavo. Pozitivni (čeprav črno-bel) Oslo, 31. august postavljen v Berlin.
    5. Paradies: Glaube – drugi del Siedlove „paradiž“ trilogije, mi je nekoliko slabši od prvega („Liebe“), pa vendar tipični (beri: drzen, provokativen, bizaren, politično nekorekten …) Siedel. Takšen, kot ga imam pač najraje.
    6. Aku no kyôten - Takashi Miike, a le v zadnji tretjini filma, ko film konvertira iz „resne realnosti“ v „stripovsko nasilno satiro“, kar film tudi naredi nekoliko drugačnega.
    7. Behind the Candelabra – baje Soderberghov zadnji film. Vrhunski M. Douglas kot lasvegaški nastopač Liberace.
    8. Djúpið – islandski predstavnik/kandidat za tujejezičnega oskarja. Resnična zgodba o mornarju brez ladje, izgubljenem v ledenem morju.
    9. Smrt čoveka na Balkanu – ena soba, en kader, eno truplo in kopico tipično filmskih (beri: klišejskih) jugo likov.
    10. Spring Breakers- po naslovu, tematiki, igralski zasedbi (Selena Gomez?), slikah in napovedniku sodeč: komercialni H. Korine? Jok, tako daleč pa spet nismo …

    Od holivudskih bi izpostavil še Dead Man Down – navsezadnje gre za izdelek režiserja filmov Män som hatar kvinnor (2009) in še boljšega To Verdener. Dark Skies – predvidljivo, a dokaj gledljivi sci-fi odgovor na Signs. Stoker – o njem smo imeli različna mnenja tukaj: V/H/S 2 – paket kratkih „found footage“ filmčkov, ki kot klofuta vedno znova udari po vseh amaterskih (in še več) filmskih ustvarjalcih.

    Pri ostalih nekako veliko povejo že same ocene … Opozoril bi le na grozno slabe oz. razočaranja Skytten (glede na to, da sem ga vključil v moje najbolj pričakovane filme leta), Populaire (glede na to, da se je izmed vseh francoskih filmov prav ta znašel tudi v naših kinematografih), Song for Marion (glede na to, da je režiser P. A. Williams v preteklosti ustvaril enega najboljših angleških uličnih filmov ever – London to Brighton), The Reluctant Fundamentalist (glede na to, da Mira Nair še vedno hoče dokazati, da je politično ter nacionalno objektivna režiserka), Admission (glede na to, da si po dobri uri – kolikor sem ga pač gledal – še vedno ni zaslužil ocene)
